I've only worn this lace skirt once or twice, but I love it and with this week being so hot, I decided to pair it with a lightweight T-Shirt today rather than the chambray top I've already worn with it. (My office is pretty casual.) I think the statement necklace really pulls the entire look together and dresses it up. I got the necklace from VeryJane.com, a great little site that features a number of small boutique and Etsy shop owners' items like jewelry, clutches and purses and fun home decor. They change up some of the items every day. I'm hooked. The prices are great and it's fun to see what they feature every day. I've gotten some other great accessories from them, too, which I'm sure I'll feature soon. I love sharing stores and websites I like - what others do you use?

I feel like I'm a broken record lately, but...it is HOT. I just want nice summer weather! Temperatures here in New England are pretty much unbearable and it's been this way for what seems like weeks. I wore this outfit  to work yesterday and I'm so glad I did because for once my office was hot, too. I kept it classic and simple with just my watch and some earrings. I think I'm running out of super cool outfits to wear during this oppressive heatwave! What are you all wearing to beat the heat?

I love this look. I snatched up this top for $30 (a little pricier than usual, but I had a coupon and had to have this top) and these shorts for about $15 (they were on clearance and I had a coupon). I think this outfit looks so classy and it's super light and airy for being out and about on a Sunday afternoon. It was about 90 degrees yesterday so I wanted to be cool. I highly recommend both these items. The top is an xs (true to size) and shorts are a 2. I usually wear a 0, but they only had a 2 and while they're a little roomy in the waist, it makes them perfect for tucking in a top. How else would you style this great top?

Sorry for my absence lately! Things have been crazy busy lately, but are finally settling down which is great. I wore this outfit last night and I think it's great for a casual Saturday night. I'm calling it island chic because this top (which I got for 40% off) has such a fun bohemian, island-like print, which will be perfect for vacation. I booked a weekend getaway for next month and I'm super excited about it. This top will most definitely be in my suitcase! I think the white jeans just make the top pop even more. How else would you style this top?

I am obsessed with this outfit. It's so summery and fun and perfect for a beach vacation, which makes me want to take one. I picked up this gorgeous scarf last week - it's not shock to any of you that I have a scarf obsession - and I'm so glad I did. I wore it with anchor stud earrings (not pictured) these fun shorts and boat shoes and I think the look is effortlessly chic. I would wear this out for errands on a Saturday afternoon, but I think it'd be great for the beach, too. What do you think?

I love this top. Love, love, love. I wasn't sure if the ruffles would be too much, but they definitely aren't. I had to get a petite xs in this top from Loft (for any of you ladies that may want to snatch one up). I'm just barely 5'4, but I have a short torso, so I find a lot of flowy tanks end up being too overwhelming on my frame. In a petite size this was perfect! I wore this top with white jeans, also here and I can't wait to try it with some other fun colors. I styled the outfit with these great t-strap sandals from Marshalls in silver. They're really comfortable and perfect for being out and about. What else would you wear this top with?
